Senior Services, A Division of Effingham City/County Committee On Aging, has been serving the older adults for over 40 years as a resource center and advocating for our senior population. We are staffed with a knowledgeable group of employees that are trained and certified with State and Federal agencies and are dedicated to assisting seniors remain healthy and living independently in the comfort of their own home. The Mission of this agency is: To elevate the quality of life for the county's older population by providing a single and familiar focal point for the delivery of services to the elderly, by offering these services directly or via linkage to the network of available assistance; to support older persons in their efforts to live independently in their own homes as an alternative to premature or inappropriate institutionalization and to serve as advocates for the aging population and it's interest.
